Walk a Mile in Somebody Else's Shoes
Team Empowerment is raising funds in order to help our amazing Homeless Entrepreneurs gain access to housing and education. It costs 250€ a month to sponsor the HELP Program for 1 Homeless Entrepreneur and 550€ a month to provide dignified housing within our Housing Launchpad Program. Donate to Team Empowerment to sponsor Ewere and ensure that she has all the resources she needs throughout the program and for her future success.
About Homeless Entrepreneur.
Homeless Entrepreneur is a non-profit organization that empowers people to lift themselves out of poverty and into employment and sustainable housing. They are based in Barcelona, Spain, however, help people from all around the world including Peru, Nigeria, and Italy. By donating, you are helping provide the tools and resources to people who will in turn become independent and active citizens, employees, and entrepreneurs.
1. Go outside and stand on the grass, road, or sidewalk. We suggest taking off your shoes and socks, however, do what makes you feel comfortable. Now imagine what it feels like to spend every night sleeping on the street.
2. Take a photo of you "feeling the street" with your bare hands or feet. Get creative by laying down, sitting, standing, doing a handstand, etc. The more donations you raise, the higher chance you become player #1 for your team!
3. Upload your photo, donate and share it with your family and friends. Invite them to share and donate. Share your photo on social media and tag us using the hashtag #HomelessHeroes. Encourage people to submit their own photo OR donate to your photo in order to become player #1!
