Illinois State Representative La Shawn K. Ford is amped up to take POP to the Top!
In lieu of their annual gala and events, we're honored to help POP reach their goals with this virtual fundraising campaign and spread awareness of mask wearing to prevent the spread of Covid-19! The Winners of the Mask On Violence Out Challenge will be announced in a live-streaming event on November 21st!
Join State Representative Ford to continue supporting POP's Mission to prevent and alleviate Youth Violence while inspiring healthy lifestyles, positive behaviors and accessible career opportunities.
Change happens locally and this is why we work on the ground, face-to-face with youth living in communities affected by violence. Through outreach services, educational seminars, and college and career readiness opportunities we encourage healthy lifestyle choices by working with active community partners to create a safe, fulfilling and academically enriching environment. To increase our outreach efforts to target teenagers at risk, we’re collaborating with local organizations and partnering with Methodist Outreach Program, Marketing Dept, Methodist Trauma Team, Northwest Emergency Associates ER Group and others to prevent violence in a real way.
To sustain the amazing work of POP on Youth Violence during these uncertain times, please Participate, Donate and Share in this critical mission to prevent and end youth violence in Chicago and beyond!
This campaign is sponsored by 100 Black Men of America, Inc.
