Sarah is 'all-in' to raise funds for Carley's angels
Sarah Fisher was honored to play the role of Carley Allison who departed us far too early. Sarah plays opposite of Luke Bilyk in the movie "Kiss and Cry." Today, however, she is competing to see who can smile and raise the most money for Carley's Foundation, and her competitor is no other than Luke! Carley was known for her trademark smile and Sarah wants her team to "smile their way to victory." Join her in the challenge and not only donate, but participate in the challenge and share with your friends. THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO JOIN TEAM Sarah: (1) click and donate right here on the page on any donate button you see and (2) upload a photo of you always smiling to the "Team Sarah Page", make a pledge on your photo, then share it with your friends and family so they can donate to Team Sarah! can make a difference. Angels Foundation was created in honour of Carley Elle Allison. She was a strong and courageous young woman who battled a very rare form of cancer. It was this strength that allowed Carley to live her life to the fullest, even as her cancer progressed. She was much more than the average teen; she was a beautiful singer, talented figure skater, and thoughtful friend. Although her battle was unimaginable, those who knew her know that she always found a reason to smile. Her smile was contagious.
Due to the rareness of Carley’s disease, traditional medicine alone was not enough. Instead, Carley’s family, with the help of Toronto’s outstanding medical community, committed themselves to searching for a combination of traditional and holistic treatments for Carley. The holistic treatments proved to be especially effective during Carley’s difficult journey. However, these treatments were not available in hospital and were very difficult to access.
Carley’s Angels continues to grow Carley’s legacy by working to unite traditional and holistic cancer care in hospitals, all while spreading Carley’s message of Always Smile.
Carley was famous for her smile and the mantra "always smile" adorned her mortal life. Now, in memory of her beautiful countenance, Sarah is throwing out a challenge to all her followers and teammates to post a picture of YOUR smile. It can be fun! Wear a mustache! Do a frown smile! Experiment and then upload it below.
First, get out your phone and use your camera to take your selfie or have someone take it for you. Then donate on your own photo, SHARE it on your social media and challenge your closest family and friends to get involved and do the same thing! Funds raised go to Carley's Angels.
